The WebCheck widget is a public status summary designed to be embedded on a website. It does not expose monitored URLs, internal IDs, check settings or diagnostic evidence.
What the widget shows
The widget can show operational, degraded, offline or unavailable status, uptime or current availability, average response time and the last completed check.
Why uptime may say current availability
New sites do not have enough history for a completed-period percentage. The widget labels its provisional value as current availability until the selected period is complete.
If the widget is unavailable
Check that the widget is enabled and that the embed token has not been revoked. Public responses are cached briefly and rate-limited; the widget never starts a live check itself.
